yesterday was not your average pool day. it was rainy & yuck but we somehow ended up there and had a wonderful time. joslin elaina was completely mesmerized by my niece&nephew. i love how fearless she is in the water but trying desperately to go under is not one of my favorite things. we are in the very middle of a long awaited pacifier battle. i go back any forth between sides which is only prolonging the fight. im lost but unwilling to listen to any except my so patient battle buddy hubby so please forgive my ramblings my brain is actually sore from these past few days. DID I MENTION SHE CRAWLED! the first steps video i have she is what else stark naked & she would completely kill me for putting it online so maybe you will see the walking.
lastly this is all i will say on the matter as it is starting to drive everyone crazy but joslin & I ventured out to Chick-fi-la today. i was so shocked at how many people where there. crazy crazy crazy. this is why i went.
i do not believe in protesting someone for their beliefs (no matter if i agree or disagree. as long as innocent lives are not being shed i will not be a protestor.) so to be okay with someone being so filled with hate that they want to watch someone's business suffer for their beliefs is sad to me & definitely not something i want as a Christian. im pretty sure i would have ended up at Chick-fi-la no matter which side this argument fell on, even though i am firm in my beliefs. there isn't anything tolerant about those actions. but yes, i would have smiled and said hello if i had run into one. so enough enough enough.
p.s.
i really really really wish u could have seen joslin's face when she looked up from a very concentrated crawl to the Olympic Under Water Women's Water Polo Cam. Her face was hilarious it was a mix between shock & terror. I had to apologize to her.
